Biography

Dr. Vandiver is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who treats general orthopaedic and sports related conditions.  He is a graduate of Baylor University and completed his M.D. degree at Michigan State University in 1993.  After a four-year residency in the Bronx, NY, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Vandiver has practiced in the Kaufman, Texas area for the past ten years.  He enjoys the diversity of the orthopaedic problems encountered in a semi-rural setting.  He is the team doctor for Kaufman and Mabank High School athletics and also treats athletes from Crandall, Kemp, Eustace, and other communities.  Dr. Vandiver is involved in community events and has been elected Chief of Surgery several times at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman.

His memberships include fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Kaufman County Medical Society and Kaufman Lions Club.
