Ben is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he played Baseball at both the Club Level and NCAA Division 1 Level as a pitcher. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Angelo State University. After graduation, he moved to Houston where he continued his Residency Training at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital with an emphasis in Sports Rehabilitation. He then continued his training at the Institute for Athlete Regeneration. His fellowship training with IAR focused on spine and extremity manipulation as well as Sports & Orthopedic Injury Rehab. Ben is a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.He enjoys the assessment and treatment baseball players with an emphasis on pitching biomechanics. He also has a strong interest in ACL rehabilitation and return to sport rehab. He has worked with athletes of all levels, including high school, collegiate, amateur, and professional athletes. He has presented at both the State and National Physical Therapy Conferences on upper extremity rehabilitation and injuries outside the upper extremity in baseball players. In his free time, he enjoys trying new restaurants with his wife, Shannon and playing with their kids, Jaxson and Keaghan and dogs, Golden and Kona.
