The executive team at OrthoLoneStar is pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Scheinberg has been named the OLS Board of Directors Chairman starting January 1, 2026. Dr. Scheinberg is a partner physician at Texas Orthopaedic Associates (TOA) based in Dallas, Texas with additional clinic locations in Fort Worth, Keller, Plano and Weatherford.
Dr. Scheinberg is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, and arthroscopic reconstructive surgery of the knee, shoulder, elbow and hip. Along with his clinical work, he currently serves as a team physician for several area high schools. In addition, he is a clinical assistant professor at UT Southwestern’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Scheinberg has had the privilege to be named a team physician for the US Ski Team, the 1994 USA World Cup soccer team, and for athletes during Cotton Bowl games.
For over 25 years, Dr. Scheinberg has been recognized as a Best Doctor in D Magazine, and a Super Doctor in Texas Monthly since 2005. As OLS Board of Directors Chairman, he will oversee the executive meetings and decision making for seven OrthoLoneStar divisions: Advanced Orthopaedics (Houston), Azalea Orthopedics (Tyler/East Texas), Carrell Clinic (Dallas), Fondren Orthopedic Group (Houston), Legacy Orthopedics (Allen) Texas Orthopaedic Associates (Dallas), and Texas Orthopedics Sports & Rehabilitation Associates (Austin/Central Texas).
