Jed is a nationally certified and state-licensed athletic trainer who is originally from Bullard, Texas. He has been with TOA since 2021. He has been a physician practice athletic trainer with Dr. Blueitt since 2017. Before that, he worked with the current TOA Fort Worth physicians while serving as a graduate and assistant athletic trainer at the University of Texas at Arlington. Where he primarily worked with college basketball, tennis, and golf. He also served as an adjunct professor in the undergraduate and graduate athletic training program for seven years. He has also served as an assistant athletic trainer in the secondary school setting at Trinity Valley School in Fort Worth.

He received his Master of Healthcare Administration degree in 2012 and his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree in 2008, both from UT Arlington.

As a physician practice athletic trainer, he assists with reviewing and explaining diagnoses and treatment plans with patients. He coordinates and assists Dr. Blueitt in all in-office procedures and plays an important role in the communication between TOA providers and other healthcare professionals, such as high school and collegiate athletic trainers, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.
