Dr. Colón completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, where he received comprehensive training in spine surgery alongside both orthopaedic spine surgeons and neurosurgeons. After completing his residency, Dr. Colón further refined his expertise by undertaking a prestigious spine surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery, which has been ranked the number one orthopaedic surgery hospital in the U.S. for 16 consecutive years.
