Laura Danks PT, DPT

Biography

Laura grew up in Frisco, Texas and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BS in Nutritional Sciences. She then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, TX. Since graduating with her DPT, Laura has continued with post-graduate education to become Certified in Functional Dry Needling and is now working towards becoming a Certified Manual Physical Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Laura has an interest in ACL Rehabilitation, return to sport testing and rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, and general orthopedic injuries. Laura is passionate about helping patients achieve their maximum potential and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. When she is not treating patients, Laura is active in the Dallas fitness community as a group fitness instructor. She enjoys running on Katy Trail, spending time with her family, and walking her dog, Benny.
