Dallas, August 18, 2025 — Texas Orthopaedic Associates is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Jacob C. Becker, a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon whose expertise in hip and knee reconstruction brings a new level of advanced care to our patients across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
Dr. Becker, a Texas native, will be seeing patients starting September 1st at our facilities in Plano, Walnut Hill Lane (Dallas), and Greenville Avenue.
Impressive Background & Clinical Focus
He graduated with honors from Mississippi College, where he excelled both academically and athletically—earning a scholarship playing Division II football, and completing his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences.
Following medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Dr. Becker completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at NYU Langone – Long Island, eventually training in adult reconstruction at the renowned Carrell Clinic in Dallas.

Driven by the passion to restore mobility and relieve pain, Dr. Becker specializes in cutting-edge joint replacement procedures that uplift both function and quality of life. His expertise includes:

Dr. Becker is an active member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Outside the operating room, he enjoys an active lifestyle—embracing the outdoors through running, biking, and fishing, often with his wife and family by his side.
